Our Process

In-Home Consultation:

1. We will first look over the space and then talk about what your expectations are, lifestyle requirements, and finally, the best part, your design style.
2. The space will be measured, …OK, this part is boring!  but nonetheless,  an important step in the process.
3. Based on your input regarding design and desire, we will develop a solution on our 3D computer design software.  This software not only allows us to craft a perfectly sized custom solution, but affords you the opportunity to view your new closet in a ‘virtual’ tour.  This really helps visualize what the new space will be from many angles.
4. We will work with you to tweak the design to your liking and agree on a final solution.
5. Once a final solution is agreed upon, we will have it signed off by you so we are all on the same page.
6. Every detail will be in a comprehensive proposal that leaves nothing to chance.
7. A deposit is required in order to secure your project and get into the schedule.

Production:

1. Once you have placed your order with us the construction / production stage begins.
2. Your racking and cabinet order is custom fabricated at Kessick’s manufacturing facilities.
3. Once your cabinet order has been fabricated, it is packaged safely for transit to our warehouse in New Jersey.
4. We stage the racking and cabinets until the construction phase has been completed.

Construction:

1. We commence the build out of your custom wine storage area.  We are essentially building a “room within a room”.  This will be the critical phase that will store your precious wine with cool and moist tender loving care.
2. Walls will be framed, insulation will be sprayed, electrical and cooling lines run, etc.

Installation:

1. We then spend the next stage of the project performing the best part, your finishing touches such as paint, stone, metal or wood that make your wine storage area uniquely yours.
2. We may install stone accents in a niche area, or on the ceiling.
3. Hardwood, tile or even cork flooring may be installed.
4. The racking and cabinets get precisely fit into place according to your specific design.
5. Trim and crown molding may be applied to give the final finishing touch on your dream space.
6. These are the showcase elements that require meticulous craftsmanship as this is what is seen and adored for years to come.

1. Now that the construction phase has ended, we do a final walk through to make sure that all elements of the design were properly installed and any questions concerning the operation of the space are addressed.
2. Now comes the fun part, putting away all the bottles you currently have and the journey going forward of many great vintages yet to come.

Follow-Up:

1. We follow up with all our customers to make sure they are completely satisfied with their purchase.

3. You can sleep well at night knowing you are always covered.  We stand behind all the products we sell. All of our racking and cabinet products are guaranteed for life.  Cooling systems have a specific life and as such are monitored and maintained in order to operate at peak efficiency.
